THE Cebu Landmasters and San Marino Corned Tuna will battle for the right to face the “weakest team” in the quarterfinal round in the playoff match of the Enervon-Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. Partner’s Cup 2013 at 4 p.m. today at the Cebu Coliseum.
The Cebu Landmasters-University of San Carlos and the San Marino-Cebu Institute of Technology-University finished the double-round robin elimination with identical 5-5 records for a tie at the third place. MANNY Pacquiao can’t afford to lose another fight if he plans to continue his career inside the ring.
Pacquiao is slated to square off with slugger Brandon Rios in his ring comeback on Nov. 24 at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Resort in Macau and his trainer Freddie Roach believes that it’s a must-win fight or else it will be the end of the road for the former pound-for-pound king.“Yeah, if he loses I will tell him to retire,” Roach told ESPN. “If you lose three in a row it’s your time.
