THE Archdiocese of Cebu has launched the local logo for Blessed Pedro Calungsod canonization, which is scheduled on October 21 this year in Rome, Italy.
The logo has a theme: “Kinabuhing Gi-ula, Pagtuong Gimantala (Life that is Offered, Faith that is Proclaimed),” was designed following the rules of uniqueness, timelessness, adaptability, scalability and simplicity.
Organizers said they also included other elements in the logo such as the title of the event done in red color, converted image of Blessed Pedro, ten green leaves of the palm of martyrdom, islands of Guam and Cebu inserted in the palm, the Cross in red color at the tip of the palm and the year 1672 and 2012.
