MANILA — After days of slowing down, typhoon Ramil has weakened further Thursday and was projected to hit Aparri, Cagayan Saturday evening if it kept its course.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Thursday night Ramil (international codename: Lupit) is forecast to move west slowly as it moves closer to Northern Luzon.
The weather bureau spotted the storm as of 11 p.m. Thursday at 150 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, and packing maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. Read rest of story
