MANILA — President Benigno Aquino III said Tuesday that next Monday’s State of the Nation Address (Sona) will reflect the real status of the country as well as his administration’s commitments and principles to achieve an inclusive growth.
In his speech during the celebration of the 67th Founding Anniversary of the University of the Philippines (UP) Beta Sigma Fraternity Alumni Association, the Chief Executive said this year’s Sona will lay down realities besetting the country to spur collective action among the citizenry towards economic progress.
“Next week, the State of the Nation Address will be held. It is important to show to the people the true state of our nation in order to improve the public discourse, and to increase the number of our people who will join us in paddling towards the right and one direction,” he said. Read more
