PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III said Thursday that he is willing to serve as “referee” between Budget Secretary Florencio Abad and Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. to settle their differences over the poll body’s 2013 budget.
In a chance interview in Pasay City, the President said the two officials need to hold a dialogue to resolve budgetary issues in relation to the conduct of automated elections next year.Read rest of story
