MALACANANG on Friday expressed confidence that the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) would be able to resolve their conflict with regard the case of former poll chairman Benjamin Abalos.
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima complained Thursday about the supposed coldness of the Comelec in pinning down Abalos in the 2007 election rigging.
