MANILA — Malacanang said Tuesday that it will let Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares weigh their options with regard possible nominations to the chief justice post.
Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said both Cabinet officials are “qualified to be the next Chief Justice” but the decision will come from them and not from Malacanang. Read more
