PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III never snubbed Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao during Friday’s energy summit in Davao City, an official said Saturday.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte, in an interview over state-run radio station, said it was not the intention of the President not to mention the name of the pound-for-pound king when he greeted other officials present in the summit.
“There were a lot of lawmakers who were there from both Chambers and the President really did not mention all of their names kasi ang dami po talaga nila. That’s why the President did say ‘and all and other’ members of the House of Representatives,” she said. Read rest of story
