Palace sees reforms in PCSO after donation controversy

MALACANANG ensured Thursday that the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes (PCSO) will implement reforms particularly in its fund use and disbursement.

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda made the assurance following revelations of apparent uneven distribution of donated ambulances during the resumption of Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on the PCSO anomalous donations Thursday.

“PCSO chair (Margie) Juico said they were doing ambulance mapping and I think that is one of the reforms that they have made that they were not just giving out ambulances to those who requested it.
