LOS ANGELES — American band Airspoken has released another mash-up featuring former “The Voice” contestant and Filipino-American Anatalia Villaranda.
Airspoken’s Justin Bernardez said, “When we were arranging this mash up, I wanted to choose a song that could really show off how powerful Anatalia’s vocals really are. I suggested a Demi Lovato song because I knew her voice would do it justice.”
Eli Mayfield said, “It was an immediate friendship when we first met, I hope to collaborate more with her in the future.”
Anatalia felt the same way about the band saying, “I had a blast working with Airspoken. You can hardly call it work when you’re laughing and pulling pranks on each other all day.”
Airspoken has become known internationally for covering songs of Filipino artists like Up Dharma Down, Yeng Constantino, and River Maya.
Airspoken’s popularity has not been limited geographically but has spread to Filipinos world wide, including Southern California where the band resides.
Anatalia’s power house vocals received a “four chair turn” and she watched as Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton fought over the opportunity to coach her.
Airspoken’s management team is currently reaching out to sponsors in hopes of funding a tour which would allow them to perform in the Philippines. (PR)
