The Editor-in-Chief

Dear Sir:

Received a copy of your newspaper, dated April 28-29, 2012 that included a write-up on my younger sister, VINA MASADAO-PHELPS, by long-time and popular newsman NARS PADILLA. The late Vina's surviving family members - her husband of 43 years, ALBERT RUSEEL PHELPS; her three siblings - VILMA MASADAO-CRISOLOGO, MARYLOU MASADAO-DE LOS SANTOS, and DOLLYBELLE MASADAO, wish to express our gratitude for the article of Nars and your publishing company as well for allowing a space for a glimpse into Vina's life when she walked shoulder-to-shoulder with local journalists, then luminaries in the journalism circle.

To all of the late VINA'S friends, please say a little prayer for her with every memory you have. Thank you for your kind words and fond memories.

To the publisher, our heartfelt thanks for giving NARS a space to relive Vina's days as the regular columnist of "BAGUIO BREEZE" for MANILA CHRONICLE.
