Prosecution hits attempt to bloat Corona’s income

The House prosecution panel slammed the attempt of Chief Justice Renato Corona’s lawyers to “bloat” the Supreme Court (SC) official’s income to justify his condominium buying-spree and millions kept in bank accounts.
Araceli Bayuga, SC chief judicial officer, told the impeachment court Wednesday that Corona received P21.64 million in salaries, allowances and other emoluments from 2002 to 2011. (Read more)
