My Home, the Philippines’ number one home and shelter magazine, is once again breaking out of its pages and into television screens everywhere with the brand new season of My Home Today!

The season premier kicks off featuring Resort Living at its finest with father and son Architects Mike and Paul Pena first in line to show their masterpiece.

Joining them is My Home Today host Issa Litton, one of my favorite hosts for her charming persona and sincere character, for a home tour that will leave you wanting your own resort dwelling.

Catch it this March 9, 2013, on ANC, Saturday at 6:30 – 7 p.m., replay on Sunday at 11 – 11:30 a.m. The trailer shown on numerous flat screens around the restaurant just reminded me of my own dream home plans.

At the My Home launch, I was seated beside the magazine’s editor in chief, the talented Jie Pambid, who did Mega founder Sari Yap’s beautiful and cozy home in the metropolis. I especially like having one room converted to Sari’s spa and closet room for her multitude of designer bags.

The launch at Aracama at the fort was a showcase of the restaurant’s different Filipino dishes like the bangus lumpia, and a carving of the Filipino liempo. For dessert, an array of kakanin was beautifully presented. I am not a fan of kakanin but the array was nicely presented, i had to get a few. And then I rediscovered how good Filipino carbs can be!
