NEW Zealand is a country Wander Woman would love to visit again. This is a country so beautiful that it will leave you in awe of God’s majestic power in creating a world so beautiful and unspoiled.

Rotorua is a geothermal wonder with its geysers and boiling mud pools. Milford Sound is the best known of all fjords and is best to cruise to view scenery so spectacular. Doubtful Sound is also worth visiting. The Waitomo caves feature limestone with glow worm hanging on the rocks that riding on a boat traversing the waters of the cave becomes a magical experience.

Being the foodie that I am, I list Kiwi fruit and the New Zealand mussels as my favorite New Zealand exports. Recently, Zespri, maker of one of the best kiwi fruits, sent its regional market development manager for Southeast and South Asia for the media launch at Cerveseria in Greenbelt.

Joining the luncheon was Dexter Difuntorum of Fresh Studio Innovations Asia, the exclusive marketing arm of Zespri kiwi fruit in the country and Kingson Chan of Elite Marketing.

Mr. Bunyan told the group that their kiwi comes from Mount Maunganui, which is in the heart of the New Zealand’s kiwi fruit industry. He explains further that Zespri offers an innovative range of premium kiwifruit products such as Gold and Green-Gold being the sweeter fruit and the Green with its sour sweet flavor.

I now look for the Zespri kiwi fruits in the supermarket simply because it brings back wonderful memories of my trip in New Zealand. And knowing that the kiwi is rich in antioxidants is a plus, too!
