Turnover ceremony set for incoming, outgoing admins

THE City Government of Davao is now preparing for the turnover ceremony of the outgoing and incoming administrations as mandated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Complying with the directive from the DILG to create transition teams and prepare for an effective, orderly and smooth turnover to incoming local officials, assistant city administrator lawyer Tristan Dwight Domingo said the smooth turnover will include a briefing on the state of performance and state of development of the local government unit, as well as financial and key challenges to incoming officials. Lacson ready for 1st session

NEWLY-ELECTED Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that the new Provincial Board (PB) is ready for the distribution of committees and adaption of House Rules during its inaugural session Wednesday next week.

OUTGOING Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Vicente Emano inducted into office his son, Misamis Oriental governor-elect Yevgeny Vincente Emano as the latter begins his duty on June 30.

Comelec stopped from proclaiming party-list winners

Twenty-four more groups were able to make it to the winner’s circle after the Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced their proclamation as winning party-list groups.
