Aid for ‘Crising’ victims assured

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) assured on Thursday that enough funds and relief supplies are in place for the victims of Tropical Depression “Crising.”

DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman said that P15.84 million in standby funds, P10.45 million in family food packs, and P42.44 million worth of relief supplies were prepositioned at DSWD field offices in the regions of Mimaropa, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen, Caraga and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm) affected by the tropical cyclone.READ MORE
