Typhoon Pablo’s death toll hits 1,020 — NDRRMC

MANILA — The death toll caused by tropical cyclone “Pablo” continued to climb, reaching 1,020 as of Sunday morning while the estimated damage increased to P24.1 billion, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported.

In its update, the NDRRMC said the number of injured persons also rose to 2,662 while 844 others remained missing. (READ MORE)
