ANGELES CITY –- The Partido Abe Kapampangan (ABE) has accused Representative Carmelo Lazatin (first district) of “crab mentality” for directing his political lieutenants to write letters to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and other organizations requesting that the awards granted to Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan and the City Government be recalled.
“This is really absurd. We never thought that Congressman Lazatin will be so desperate that he is now behaving like a crab in a bucket. This is a classic case of crab mentality,” ABE secretary general William Aguilar said. Read the rest of this entry
MANILA (Updated) – The death toll from Typhoon “Pablo” (international codename: Bopha) continued to climb, reaching 714 as of Tuesday morning, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.
In its update, the NDRRMC said the number of injured people also rose to 1,906, while 890 others remained missing and 110 persons have been rescued. (READ MORE)
