AIMING to establish markets overseas on the strength of craftsmanship, quality, and designs, Premadasas Gems & Jewellery of Sri Lanka will be showcasing its products in the 2nd Philippine Russian Business Forum and Exhibition (PRBFEX) on Oct. 21-24 at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City.
This was revealed by Honorary Russian Consul Armi Lopez Garcia, who said that Premadasas is the only foreign company in Southeast Asia participating in the Trade Exhibit.
While maintaining its position as Sri Lanka’s ardently-sought brand of quality gemstones and innovative jewelries, Premadasas hopes to achieve a higher level of recognition as a gems merchant and jeweler in the global arena by joining in this four-day event.
Premadasas, after its inception in 1956, experienced unprecedented growth and earned global recognition as it continued to attract an elite international clientele. Half a century later, it effortlessly reached the envied level of being in the top ranks for fine gemstones and jewelry.
A philosophy exclusively focused on customer satisfaction has led to constant staff training and upgrading manufacturing quality standards that maintained the status Premadasas is renowned for.
Premadasas is expected to portray its global strength in the industry by showcasing breathtaking arrays of Sri Lanka’s fine gems and jewelry in the 2nd PRBFEX.
The Trade Exhibition will serve as an educational point of exchange of cultural and economic backgrounds of both the Philippines and Russian Federation. It will showcase the various trade opportunities in both countries.
“We hope to generate more trade opportunities and strengthen relations between Russia and the Philippines through this exhibition,” Garcia said. “This will be a good entry point for the Russians not only to the Philippine market but to the ASEAN and even the rest of the world, and vise versa.”
Lined up for exhibition are products and services related to tourism and wellness; trade promotion and development; mining and energy; education and culture; labor, placement services and outsourcing; and retirement facilities and real estate development.
